These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and online store, operated by Sweet District ("we", "us", or "our"), and apply to all purchases made through our platforms, including Wix, Ecwid, and Square.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

Products & Orders

• All products are made to order unless stated otherwise.

• We specialise in custom cakes and desserts and require a minimum notice of 7 days for most orders.

• We reserve the right to decline an order if:

○  We are fully booked

○ The information provided is incomplete or unclear

○ It does not meet our production standards or timeline

Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in AUD and are subject to change without notice

• Full payment is required at checkout to secure your order.

• Payments are securely processed via Square and Ecwid; we do not store or access your credit card details.

Pickup & Delivery

Pickup:

• Pickup is available from our licensed commercial kitchen in Melbourne.

• Pickup times must be confirmed in advance. Late pickups may not be accommodated.

• Once a product leaves our premises, it is no longer our responsibility.

Delivery:

• Delivery is available within select Melbourne suburbs

• Delivery must be pre-arranged, and fees are calculated based on distance.

• Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the agreed time. Missed deliveries may incur re-delivery charges or cancellation without refund.

Customisation & Design Variations​

• As all products are handmade, slight variations in colour, size, shape, or design may occur.

• While we do our best to replicate inspiration images, we do not guarantee exact matches.

• Colours may appear differently on screens vs in real life.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements​

• We are not an allergen-free kitchen. We do not make dairy-free, egg-free or gluten-free cakes.

• While some items may be nut-free, traces of allergens may still be present.

• It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies before ordering.

Cancellations, Refunds & Changes

In brief:

• No refunds for change of mind.

• Cancellations with sufficient notice may be eligible for credit or partial refund.

• No refunds for missed pickups or deliveries due to incorrect info or unavailability.​

All content on this website, including text, photos, logos, and product names, is the property of Sweet District and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our website, products, or services.

• We are not responsible for allergic reactions, mishandling, or spoilage after pickup or delivery.
